Alison Howkins (née Ward)

I went to Brundall Primary from aged 4 to 11. I have very many happy memories of the school. I started my love of music at the school learning the cello and being part of the orchestra. At break time we used to have a rule that every time a train went past we had to be off the ground, which was quite tricky when a coal train went by as it could have up to 30 carriages, trying to hang on was hard!

When I grew up I married and then had 2 boys. I helped my husband with his business books and found that I liked it, so I studied hard at night school, qualified, and now run my own accountancy firm based in Gorleston.
