I went to Brundall School from 1976 to 1980 and loved every minute of it. Maybe that’s why I decided to become a primary school teacher, after Thorpe House School and then graduating from Cardiff University with a degree in Marine Geography. I have been a teacher for 20 years now and have specialised in teaching children with additional needs. Not only has teaching given me an incredibly rewarding and enjoyable career, it has also allowed me to travel the world in a way few jobs can. After my husband, also a teacher, spent a year in Canada on a teacher exchange, we went to New Zealand for a short time. I have just returned from 2 years teaching in Canton in China and am now working in an International School in Stockholm, Sweden.
