The Penguin Class are enjoying finding out how different families celebrate around the world. This week we have learnt about three families and the ways in which they celebrate Chinese New Year.
There have been many interesting differences and similarities which have helped us to understand the world around us. We have learnt some Chinese calligraphy, songs, greetings and stories. Today we were lucky enough to try Chinese dumplings and prawn crackers. Many children also enjoyed dressing up in traditional clothes, using chopsticks and creating dragon masks.
Thank you to Judy, Lei and Ting for making our learning so real and memorable.
