Thank you to Norfolk Museum Service who provided such a stimulating and exciting day for our youngest learners.
The Penguin and Swan Classes enjoyed a wonderful day at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse. Many parents came and helped us to find the lost treasures from fairy tale stories. We met the Wicked Witch and learned how to create magic spells and stinky potions in her woods. We helped Cinderella with her chores in her cottage and learnt what life was like before electricity in homes. We even met Jack, from the Jack and the Beanstalk story, who taught us how to be brave and adventurous on quests.
To end our trip we enjoyed a bumpy tractor ride around the farm.
We were so proud of our classes who really engaged with all these first hand learning experiences. Their impeccable behaviour and enthusiasm for learning made it another great day to remember.
