Today the Penguin Class had their Parent Share and we enjoyed sharing our learning with our families.
We began with our new letter sound and we showed parents and carers how we can practice at home too.
We shared a curry that we made to celebrate Diwali and we created individual diva lamps out of clay. The Year 1 children were challenged to create an Indian elephant made out of an old milk carton. Great recycling!
Some children created the Taj Mahal using 3D shapes, whilst others created Mendhi and Rangoli patterns.
What a fantastic morning. Thank you for supporting your child with their learning. Your comments are appreciated. Here are a few:
“I loved watching the children being captivated by the learning.”
“The whole Parent Share lesson was excellent. I was very impressed with the phonics session and the Diwali activities were brilliantly planned out. I can’t wait for the next one.”
“…the children were all well behaved and remained focused.”
