What a super treat to hear Mr Mudd sharing his passion and skill in playing the cello to our youngest learners.
The children were spell bound with the sound he created and it inspired them to write thank you letters to him. He asked us to close our eyes and imagine we were swans gliding down the river.
Here are some of their comments and questions:
“”It was so beautiful please come again.”
“How did you learn to play?”
“How old were you when you started to learn.”
“Why did you choose to learn the cello.”
Mr Mudd told the Penguin Class that we were a fantastic audience. We can’t wait until Year 3 so we can learn to play a stringed instrument at our school.
