The Plasticine Project

Each of the children was given a tile and some plasticine and asked to create a 3D garden.

The results were brilliant.

Gardening Club

Miss Bond is eagerly awaiting a wonderful potting shed/ outdoor science classroom, funded by FOBS (Friends of Brundall School). Meanwhile, she is busy helping children prepare the soil for winter planting. Garlic bulbs are a new addition to the crop! If you would like to help grow flowers and vegetables in the school gardens, contact Miss Bond for further details.

We are very proud of our developing landscape here at Brundall School, thanks mainly to Miss Bond , who battles in all weather to maintain and improve the gardens. Every lunchtime, she can be seen with a posse of children, watering, digging and sowing. The children also have the responsibility of repainting their scultures. Please enjoy our latest photos…

Red and White

A production by the Key stage 2 Drama group at Brundall School. The piece was devised and explored themes of prejudice and acceptance. It was performed at Thorpe St. Andrew High School on December 5th and 7th as part of their drama fair.

Gardening Club

The Gardening Club is run and led by Rachael Bond, one of our Learning Support Assistants, and attended by over 50 children throughout the week. They have some great seedlings coming on in the good weather and with their care and attention – we’re looking forwards to potatos and sunflowers and beans and lots more.

Knutty Knitters

One of my pupils once told me that she would love to learn to knit. Textiles plays an important part of the design technology curriculum, so I asked her to find out if anybody else was interested in forming a beginners’ knitting club. A long list of names came back! In desperation, I recruited Mrs Uttley, Mrs Smedley, Mrs Wilson and Mrs Thomas to pass on their expertise. The children chose the name ‘Knutty Knitters’ for their club, and within four weeks later some of the pupils were able to help others.

Diwali Festival Paintings

We created lots of paintings to celebrate Diwali. Diwali is the Hindu "festival of lights" which celebrates the New Year. It is India's most important holiday. Take a look at our colourful pictures.

Ancient Briton Props & Costumes

We work closely with Drama Club creating props and costumes for plays. Our most recent collaboration, inspired by Norfolk’s Queen Boadicea was called ‘Ancient Britons’ and involved teachers and pupils being painted with woad and dressed with shields and spears made by art club members.
