On friday 26th February, Puffin Class did an amazing assembly about Jonah and the Whale and all of the parents came to watch our assembly.

Year 5 have been learning about Britain since 1930 through The Beatles. 5S told the first part of their story and 5G finished it off.

After reading “The Owl Who Was Afraid Of The Dark”, we had the exciting opportunity to meet two owls in our classroom.

We are learning all about Mountain Adventures this term in Puffin Class. Mr Dooley came to talk to us about his own mountain adventures.
As part of our topic on Light and Dark the Penguin Class have been learning to paint in the style of Van Gogh. We enjoyed colour mixing and learning a new swirling technique whilst recreating “Starry Night”.
On June 29th, 1613, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre was set alight accidentally by a cannon spark.
We are having lots of fun investigating why things sink or float in science lessons in Puffin Class.
