We had an exciting day at the zoo. As part of our topic on “Journeys” we travelled to Kessinglnad and explored African animals and their habitats.
Light and Dark Topic
After reading “The Owl Who Was Afraid Of The Dark”, we had the exciting opportunity to meet two owls in our classroom.
Light & Dark Topic
As part of our topic on Light and Dark the Penguin Class have been learning to paint in the style of Van Gogh. We enjoyed colour mixing and learning a new swirling technique whilst recreating “Starry Night”.
Cheer-leading & Disco Workshop
Caroline Spandler from Dimensions School of Dance put the pupils of KS1 and Reception through their paces with a cheer-leading and disco workshop.
