This half term, year 5 have been learning about space. Groups of children became experts on particular planets. Have a look at our powerpoints to learn more…

Year 5 have been learning about Britain since 1930 through The Beatles. 5S told the first part of their story and 5G finished it off.
In literacy we have been looking at recount writing and the children had a go at writing a report for an unknown audience on the subject of our postponed ‘Mocktail party’!
Di Tye and Elise Clitheroe made a ‘Tiles And Tesserrae’ mosaic of the new school logo with the help of Y5 and Y6 pupils.
We are very excited to be writing to a French school and have lots of questions to ask them. Have a look at some of our email correspondence.
We are the other Year 5 Class (yes, at Brundall School we have very big year groups.) We are 5O and we would love to read any letters from you.
Class 5O established a Bread Making technology unit. In the unit the children investigated existing bread recipes and then adapted them by adding in their own additional ingredients (hence the ‘green choc chip’ rolls that you can see in the photos!) The children then tested their products, evaluated them and make packaging too.
