Energy Saving Assembly
Mr Winter, our site manager, held an assembly on energy saving around our school. We were asked to think about all the ways in which we could save on energy consumption. In 2007, £1,300 was saved by our efforts to switch off overhead projectors, interactive whiteboards and computer monitors.
Mr Winter has challenged us to save even more for 2008 and has placed stickers around the school at switches with colour coded messages, e.g. red stickers mean we must ask permission to turn on the power, yellow means we can use them if neccessary, and green means that we can switch them on without permission.
