Our ‘Small is Beautiful’ art exhibition was the showcase for some of the superb learning that went on around our school in Beauty Week. Each class had a stand displaying some of its art, poetry, etc and each child had a piece of artwork framed. The framed artwork was purchased by parents at £1.50, which raised funds for a sculpture for the school grounds for everyone to appreciate. Miss Glover also bought the school a salix tree on which to hang sayings about beauty. The tree will be potted up and will feature as another ‘living’ sculpture in the grounds. I would like to thank all the parents, carers and other members of the community who came to support the exhibiton and create a great atmosphere.
