The school celebrated the sporting achievements of some of its pupils, with the commitment to sport awards. Mel Clarke the bronze medal winning archer came into school with her trusty assistant Kenny to help present the winners of this years awards with certificates, and trophies to the year six winners.

Every child had nominated a boy and girl in their year group, who they thought showed dedication, determination and an overall love of sport both in and outside of school. The winners along with year four and some of year five children were given a master class by Mel and were able to have a go themselves, when rain stopped play the children had a Q&A session where they were able to hold the olympic medal! Every child and adult went home dreaming of olympic stardom and the message that whatever happens keep trying.
