As part of our Kindness Week the Penguin Class visited the village park to litter pick. We were shocked to find lots of plastic items including a toothbrush, crisp packets, tin cans and lots more.
We talked about being kind to the environment and it was great to hear such young children have strong opinions about looking after our village.
“The rubbish made me feel upset. People should put it in the bin.”
“It made me feel angry and upset because I don’t want plastic in the river.”
“People are not showing respect to the environment”.
“We want our world to look beautiful and clean.”
