Rebecca Davies

Rebecca DaviesMy name is Rebecca Davies and I moved to Norfolk when I was eight years old. I attended Brundall Primary School from 1992 until 1995.

After leaving Brundall School, I went to Norwich High School for Girls and then to Thorpe St Andrew for Sixth Form. I studied at Nottingham Trent University, completing a degree in Psychology and Sociology.

Currently I’m a Senior Business Analyst working for The University of Nottingham.  I work with academics, researchers and students, helping them to build the latest technology which will enable them to perform their day to day activities. I love the fact that my job supports people who are working on ground breaking research to find the next cure for serious illnesses and diseases.

I have very fond memories of Brundall School including:

  • The friends I made, some of which are still great friends to this day!
  • Mr Capp’s assemblies!
  • The school production of Joseph and his technicoloured dream coat – I always remember the great productions the school put on. They were a lot of fun to be part of!
  • The support and encouragement that I received from all my teachers, allowing me to believe that I could achieve anything I put my mind to.
