On Friday the Penguin and Swan Classes visited Brundall Home and Hardware Store. It was a great opportunity to explore our community and learn from others. Mr and Mrs Bevan arranged three exciting learning opportunities to support our topic on Plants and Growth. Each child planted seeds and used real money and a till to purchase seeds which they can plant at home. The quality of their writing on return to the classroom is a good reminder about the importance of first hand experiences. We can’t wait to grow our own purple carrots!
Thank you to Mr and Mrs Bevan for arranging this wonderful learning opportunity and to all of the parents and carers who gave up their time to support us.
