This week we have been looking at prefixes and suffixes. I assembly, we talked about the fact that prefixes are found at the beginnings of words. We thought of examples such as un, dis, re, inter and pre. We learned that suffixes come at the ends of words and include s, ed, ing, ible, able, ness and ise. We took the root word ‘like’ and made new words by adding prefixes, suffixes or both e.g disliking, unlike, likeness. How many can you make?
