Who am I? Mr Stuart-Sheppard

What do I teach? Headteacher, Music

Why do I do it?
Learning, children and schools are the constants in my life and the opportunity to be head of a school that is committed to ‘achievement and creativity for all’ is what inspires me. I want to see our school as a place where each child can thrive and develop their special skills and qualities, where staff can bring their whole self to the professional role, and the school is a vital part of the community.

What do I do when I am not at school?
Family, music, sport, walk, sleep, read…

Who am I? Miss Peers

What do I teach? Year 4, Lead Art, DT and Creative Curriculum, LOTc

Why do I do it?
As a child, I felt my primary education to be a tedious drill of constant copying from the board. I wanted to change all that with creative lessons to inspire children to learn.

What do I do when I am not at school?
I love gardening and at the moment I’m developing my front garden into an edible one. I live next door to a broad and often paddle around it in my kayak. I also love painting, traveling and camping as much as my spare time will allow!

What do I do? Year 5 Teacher, English Subject Leader

Why do I do it?

Every day is always a different experience when you teach – there aren’t really many jobs you can say that about! I really enjoy working with children and believe that it is a great privilege to be able to have a positive impact on their education.

What do I do when I’m not at school?

I enjoy running and have started to take part in Parkruns on Saturday mornings. I organise a weekly (friendly) football match that takes place at the University of East Anglia.
