The Penguin and Bittern Classes would like to thank the parents, carers and staff who helped to make our learning real and memorable last half term.
Thank you Mrs Forder for sending Tallulah the tortoise to school for the morning. The children were fascinated by her and they asked lots of interesting questions about reptiles. Thank you also to Libby who shared her bearded dragon with us; it was a day we won’t forget in a hurry!
Finally, thank you to Carlos, our site manager who helped to make our investigation into rainforest habitats memorable. We all agreed that we would love to visit Sao Tome one day!
Later in June we are looking forward to Mrs Perrin’s Bounce and Rhyme session resuming and also a talk by Adam who works for the Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science and is a jellyfish expert. We are also looking forward to the launch of the Summer Reading Challenge…
Please get in touch if you have a special interest or skill that you can share with us.
