As part of the Water, Mills and Marshes project, the Owls spent yesterday exploring the Broads. Our day began with a tour of Thurne Mill, where we learned about its history and importance in maintaining water levels. We then went to How Hill, where we did some river dipping and found out about species that live in various Broads’ habitats. In the afternoon, we continued to look for wildlife on a paddle steamer cruise. We had a fantastic day!
